We at SA Communications & Data Cabling are now offering the $50 ADSL health check.
This is for customers that would like to know if their ADSL issues are internal or external or would simply like to know that they are getting the most out of thir connection.
Included in this offer is a test at the socket and at the building entry point / Telstra box.
A report will then be provided with both results. Repairs if required can be discussed on the day, with time permitting done or an appoinment made for the repairs.

- Equiped with all the neccesary tools I am able to investigate your ADSL correctly. Tools such as the JDSU SmartClass ADSL tester and a TDR to look into the carrier network for potential issues. I test co-operativley with yor ISP while onsite to deliver the best results to you.
- Beside carrier issues, customer internal (Premises) cabling and incorrect filtering can degrade your ADSL service. This can cause slow response / poor data transfer, dropouts and even no SYNC.
- If you have a back to base alarm system on your ADSL line; you need to have a Central Filter installed by a professional cabler. I have attended a number of faults where a security system has been filtered using an 'inline filter' - This is not a suitable method for filtering ADSL
- If you have more than 4 telephone devices on the line, it is recommended you have a central filter installed.
- Where it is determined that the problem you are experiencing is not caused by your service provider; I can investigate your cabling, filtering and hardware at your premises.
- While onsite a JSDU test report can be provided to you and your ISP to assist with reporting carrier issues. Before and after repair reports can also be provided for your records. See below example of ADSL test report.
